FP&A Lead

Our mission is to unlock the full potential of quantum technologies, transforming industries and pushing the boundaries of science. As we scale, we are looking for a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Lead to join our growing finance team and play a key role in shaping the financial future of the company.

This is a critical role that will serve as the financial backbone of our planning and performance activities. You will work closely with the CFO and the broader Finance team and cross-functional departments to drive strategic financial insights, manage forecasting cycles, support board and investor reporting, and develop financial models that enable data-driven decisions across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes in coordination with department leaders

· Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support business decisions, resource allocation, and growth planning

· Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages including key financial metrics, budget vs. actual analysis, and variance commentary

· Support investor and board reporting, including preparation of presentations, financial data, and strategic insights

· Track and report on key financial KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

· Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Operations teams to build product costing models and assess gross margin performance

· COGS and Inventory analysis, tracking Inventory cycles KPI’s

· Contribute to the company’s long-term strategic planning by providing financial projections and market analysis

· Partner with accounting to ensure accurate monthly close processes and data integrity

· Continuously improve and automate planning and reporting tools and processes

· 3+ years of experience in FP&A in a Hi-tech company, investment banking, or financial analyst in a high-growth environment

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus)

· Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling best practices

· Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with FP&A tools and ERP systems is a plus

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders

· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and working independently
